No more than in any other rooms is it important to maximise light and space than in the bathroom and kitchen. This is especially true of flat conversions in period buildings where any feeling of space is at a premium. The use of effective lighting and the creation of clean finishes and crisp structured lines, all combined with a practical arrangement, can achieve this openness.
